JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-
Registered Nurse - Inpatient Surgical Unit
RN - INPT OR
Full-Time
Registered Nurse candidates for the Inpatient Surgical Unit will have the following job responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment & Care: Perform comprehensive assessments on pre- and post-operative patients implementing care plans managing IVs and changing dressings.
- Monitoring & Safety: Monitor patients for complications manage pain and respond to deteriorating conditions.
- Discharge Planning & Education: Educate patients and families on post-surgery care medications and recovery ensuring a smooth transition home.
- Collaboration: Work with surgeons anesthesiologists and the healthcare team to coordinate care.
- Documentation: Accurately update patient files and records in compliance with hospital standards.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS-
Registered Nurse - Inpatient Surgical Unit
RN - INPT OR
Full-Time
Registered Nurse candidates for the Inpatient Surgical Unit must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
- Must have 1 year of recent (Within the last 2 years) Acute Care RN Experience.
- Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
- BLS (AHA Healthcare provider) required prior to start
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
