Situated in South West Jakarta the campus offers outstanding facilities that support academic excellence creativity and wellbeing. The curriculum begins with the UK Early Years Foundation Stage continues through the English National Curriculum in Primary and progresses into the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) Diploma Programme (DP) and Career-related Programme (CP) in Secondary.

The Role
Following continued growth in student enrolment the school is seeking a Junior School Teacher to join the Primary faculty from August 2026. This role offers the opportunity to teach a class within the Junior School delivering high-quality learning experiences aligned with the English National Curriculum and incorporating inquiry-led and concept-based approaches.
The successful candidate will contribute to the wider life of the school supporting co-curricular activities and playing an active role in the schools pastoral and wellbeing programmes.
Key Responsibilities
The Junior School Teacher will plan and deliver engaging well-structured lessons that support students academic progress and foster a love of learning across the primary curriculum. Teaching will include core subjects such as English and Mathematics alongside foundation subjects ensuring a broad and balanced curriculum.
The role involves creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment differentiating learning to meet the needs of all students and using a range of formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform teaching.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity and progression across year groups contribute to curriculum development and maintain effective communication with parents and the wider school community. They will also support students personal social and emotional development through the schools wellbeing and pastoral systems.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should hold a relevant degree along with a recognised teaching qualification such as a PGCE or equivalent. A minimum of five years relevant teaching experience is required. Experience teaching within the English National Curriculum in a primary setting is strongly preferred.
The school is seeking an educator with excellent classroom practice strong subject knowledge and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning. Strong interpersonal skills adaptability and a collaborative student-centred approach are essential.
