Job Summary
Join Horry Electric Cooperative Inc. as an Intern in Line Construction where you will gain hands-on experience in the electric utility industry. This onsite position is located in Conway SC.
The starting pay for this Intern position is $16.00 per hour. As an Intern in Line Construction at Horry Electric Cooperative Inc. you will assist with basic line work tasks providing you with valuable hands-on experience in electric utility operations.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Must be 18 Years of Age
- Valid Drivers License
- Preferred - Pursuing a certificate in an electrical line technician program
After an offer of employment has been made the cooperative requires the successful completion of a physical with drug and alcohol screening a physical capacity test and a background check. Some positions will also require a driving record.
