Oxford Learning Guelph is seeking anenthusiastic reliable and confident Senior-Level Math Teacher-Tutorto join our team. Thisin-person part-time roleis ideal for someone who loves working with high school students and enjoys making math clear engaging and achievable.

About the Role

As a Teacher-Tutor youll work as anInteractive Coach supporting up tothree students at a time each working at their own level.

You will:

• Teach reading and writing in French and/or English
• Deliver instruction following Oxford Learnings methodologies
• Complete brief post-lesson notes and daily student updates
• Maintain a friendly professional and encouraging presence
• Help students build confidence skills and independence

Schedule & Commitment

• Mandatory availability: Monday Thursday 3:30 PM 8:00 PM
• Optional:Saturdays 10:00 AM 3:00 PM
• After-school and evening hours only
• Commitment through the end of the school year preferred (summer availability is a plus)

Who Were Looking For

We encourage you to apply if you meetmostof the following:

Education

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in a related field
• Fourth-year university students with strong tutoring experience considered
• Teaching certification is an asset
• French (spoken and written) isrequired

Experience & Skills

• Experience teaching or tutoring
• Strong knowledge of the Ontario curriculum
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Confident math skills through grade 6 and ability to explain concepts clearly
• Ability to multitask and work with multiple students
• Dependable organized and student-focused

Important Details

• In-person positionat our Guelph Clairfields Learning Centre on Gordon Street
• Applicants must live in or near the Guelph area and be able to commute
• This isnotan online role
• Vulnerable Sector Screening is required
• Relocation packages are not available

Compensation/Salary:$19 / hour
