Job Description Summary
The Turboprop Staff Certification Engineer plays a key role in supporting the H/M Series and Catalyst certification programs including direct engagement with EASA and FAA. This position is responsible for continuous operational safety for the program and for developing the processes and procedures needed to efficiently produce high-quality certification deliverables.

Essential Responsibilities
- Lead the continuous operational safety process. Drive cross-functional alignment on containment and corrective action plans ensuring timely issues closure.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to develop certification plans that meet regulatory requirements and program objectives.
- Support the Certification Manager by advising on efficient execution and prioritization of work.
- Develop and improve certification methods and processes to enhance quality and efficiency including leveraging artificial intelligence applications where appropriate.
- Assess engine design changes against applicable regulatory standards and propose appropriate methods of compliance.
- Collaborate with regulatory authorities to discuss align on and finalize certification plans.
- Define and manage Certification Programs (CP) including reviewing required documentation coordinating actions with authorities and maintaining the Compliance Checklist.
- Provide regular status updates to regulatory authorities and internal leadership on certification program execution progress.
- Translate regulatory requirements into clear actionable deliverables for design and systems teams.
- Prepare certification test plans and reports to ensure compliance and quality.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced experience in Engineering/Technology & Technical Regulations and Standards with knowledge equivalent to a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college.
- Experience with the certification of aircraft engines or similar aerospace products.
- Strong understanding of EASA (preferred) and FAA certification requirements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.
- Proven ability to document plan and execute programs along with established project management skills.
