E & I QC Inspector(Receiving Inspection)
Job Summary
Roles and responsibilities:
- Qualification BE/ Diploma in Electrical/Instrument engineer Minimum Quality Exp 8- 10 Year offshore experience.
- CompEx Ex 01-04 or IECEx certified.
- Familiar with inspections of all E&I Telecommunications material with respect to code/standards and specifications.
- Appraise product quality in accordance with the Project Quality Plan Inspection & Test Plan and Scope of work and determine conformity and non-conformity.
- All inspection results need to be documented and if non-conformity exists documentation shall be raised to establish corrective action preventive actions and root cause.
- Co-ordinate with Operations Production Supervisor Client Job Sharing personnel and subcontractor assuring conformity to project requirements.
- Perform Material receiving inspections of electrical instrumentation telecommunication in accordance with project requirements and scope of work as noted within the Project Quality Plan / Inspection Test Plan.
- Receiving Inspection of material found with the deficiency routed through the OS & D Management for disposition.
- Proactive approach in prevention of a nonconformance by conducting regular surveillance inspections and interaction with respective departments.
- Perform surveillance checks on Electrical Instrument Telecom equipments and materials Storage and preservation in construction site and at Warehouses.
- Witness E&I/T pre-commissioning and performance acceptance tests to the acceptance criteria as per established parameters.
- Material storage and preservation check with respect to the procedure and manufacturer recommendation.
- Coordinate with warehouse and CPY team for the daily inspection planes.
- Coordinate with expeditor QA and material management team for the receiving inspection related nonconformance.
