Were looking for a Drainlayer to join our Southland team. This is a handson role delivering highquality water and drainage infrastructure that supports our local communities and keeps projects moving safely and efficiently.

Mō te tūranga About the role

As a Drainlayer youll be responsible for carrying out drainage and water infrastructure works across a range of projects in Southland. This is a sitebased practical role where youll work as part of an experienced crew ensuring work is completed safely to specification on time and to a high standard. Youll work closely with supervisors and project teams to deliver quality outcomes for our clients and communities.

• Install stormwater wastewater and water infrastructure in line with plans and specifications
• Carry out PE watermain concrete and PVC drainage installations
• Read and interpret plans standards and service information
• Work safely around existing services and within live environments
• Maintain strong health safety quality and environmental standards on site
• Communicate effectively with crew members supervisors and project teams

• Proven experience carrying out drainage works on civil or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of PE concrete and PVC drainage systems
• Sound understanding of working around existing underground services
• A strong safetyfocused mindset
• Current New Zealand Drainlayer certification (preferred) or the ability and willingness to work towards certification
• A handson teamfirst attitude with a willingness to muck in
