We expect continuous growth across the region and are seeking a Civil Drainlayer to join our work whanau in New Plymouth.
You will be a hands-on expert with regards to Civil Drainage and Wastewater your day-to-day will include:
Hands-on construction of wastewater stormwater and drainage assets
Installation of pipes (PVC PE concrete) manholes catchpits and chambers Waste-water and storm water projects
Reading and interpreting plans drawings and specifications
Carrying out confined space works and live network tie-ins
Important Skills Nga Pūkenga Matu
Along with your keen interest and experience in Civil Drain laying you will take pride in your work be a solid team player and like to have a good laugh! Wed really value:
Proven civil drain laying experience and qualification.
Experience in Storm Water and Wastewater
Potable water and or other civil related experience is a bonus.
Strong knowledge of 3 Waters infrastructure
Ability to work hands-on in the trench not just supervise
- Great communication and technical skills
Strong safety and quality focus to keep the public and team safe
A Full Class 1 or 2 drivers license.
Strong planning skills and the ability to deal with unexpected events and make decisions.
Great communication and technical skills.
