Senior QA Automation Engineer (Selenium)

Position Description:

Exp: 9 yrs
Location: Chennai Bengaluru and Hyderabad

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium-based automation frameworks. The candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver
Build and enhance test automation frameworks (Hybrid / Data-driven / BDD)
Collaborate with developers product managers and QA teams to understand requirements
Perform functional regression integration and system testing
Execute automated test suites and analyze results
Identify log and track defects using tools like JIRA
Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitLab etc.)
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Ensure maximum test coverage and improve test efficiency
Contribute to QA best practices and continuous improvement

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-Have Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
Proficiency in Java or Python
Experience with testing frameworks: TestNG / JUnit / PyTest
Hands-on experience in API Testing (REST Assured / Postman)
Knowledge of BDD tools (Cucumber)
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins / GitLab)
Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Good-to-Have Skills
Experience in performance testing (JMeter)
Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
Basic understanding of security testing
Experience working with microservices architecture
