Role Overview

We are looking for a Technical Product Owner to join the Platform Components squad part of the Platform Clusters within the AIR (Analytical Insight & Reporting) Tribe.

The Platform Components Squad is responsible for the Cloud Data Platform foundation enabling analytics reporting and AI use cases across the organization. It operates in close collaboration with the other squads of the Platform cluster notably Data Governance to ensure endtoend consistency compliance and scalability.

In this role you will act as a hands-on technical product owner combining product ownership agile delivery and strong technical expertise (Azure Databricks Microsoft Fabric) to design prioritize and evolve core data platform capabilities.

You will be a key interface between business clusters and internal or external clients ensuring platform services meet business needs while remaining robust reusable and aligned with the overall platform strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog for the Platform Components squad

• Capture analyze and structure requirements from business stakeholders and clients with a strong focus on technical feasibility reusability and scalability

• Translate business and analytical needs into standardized platform services patterns and technical capabilities

• Work closely with the Solution Architect and Lead Expert Engineers to define optimal technical scope and target solutions

• Ensure strong alignment and collaboration with the Data Governance guaranteeing consistency across security governance data lifecycle and platform standards

• Support the scrum team during backlog refinement sprint planning and delivery activities

• Ensure platform solutions comply with cloud architecture principles security governance and regulatory constraints

• Plan and manage internal platform initiatives ensuring expected outcomes in terms of scope quality delivery timeline and value

• Prepare and deliver presentations and communications on platform capabilities roadmap evolution and product enhancements

Technical & Professional Profile

• Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner Technical Product Manager or similar role in data or platform environments

• Strong understanding of Cloud Data Platforms ideally including:

• Azure

• Databricks

• Microsoft Fabric

• Comfortable working close to engineering teams with the ability to understand architecture choices data flows and nonfunctional requirements

• Experience in Agile / Scrum environments preferably in multisquad or platform contexts

• Strong analytical and prioritization skills with the ability to balance speed robustness and longterm platform sustainability

• Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
