About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Native Platform Engineer to strengthen a DevOps team responsible for the continuous evolution automation and optimization of a modern application and platform landscape.

You will play a key role in designing implementing and managing cloud-native platforms and software delivery processes. The focus of this position is on automation container orchestration CI/CD pipelines observability and improving the reliability security and scalability of mission-critical applications.

As a senior technical expert you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams contribute to architectural decisions promote knowledge sharing and drive continuous improvement through DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design implement and maintain cloud-native platform solutions.
• Automate infrastructure and application delivery pipelines.
• Build and optimize CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions.
• Manage and support Kubernetes-based production environments.
• Improve platform observability monitoring and performance.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Support the reliability scalability and security of critical applications.
• Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to foster a DevOps culture.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement across platform engineering practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have

• Minimum 5 years of experience with cloud-native platforms or similar technologies.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Proven experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
• Strong experience managing Kubernetes in production environments.
• Solid knowledge of Grafana for monitoring and observability.
• Fluent Dutch language skills (CEFR C2 level).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies.
• Experience with Prometheus for metrics collection and monitoring.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or equivalent practical experience.
