Description
The Manager Data Center leads all aspects of data center management within a designated market or country focusing on operational excellence and service continuity. This role ensures compliance with SLAs regulatory standards and company objectives while driving innovation and standardization across locations. The position collaborates closely with cross-functional teams manages large budgets and acts as a key escalation point during incidents. Customer relationship management and talent development are integral with a strong emphasis on process optimization and supporting organizational change.
Responsibilities
This role is accountable for the end-to-end operational leadership of multiple data center sites ensuring uninterrupted service delivery and adherence to regulatory and company standards. The manager oversees workforce management drives operational standardization and implements innovative solutions to enhance efficiency. Financial stewardship is critical with direct responsibility for large CAPEX and OPEX budgets as well as financial performance reporting. The position requires active collaboration with Sales CTO DE&C Finance and HR teams to resolve incidents and optimize customer satisfaction. Talent development and compliance are key priorities alongside fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement. The manager also supports organizational change initiatives and maintains strong stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications
4-7 Years in data center operations or management rolesMasters degree (MBA preferred but not required)Expertise in critical MEP infrastructure and data center proceduresProven experience in financial performance management and process optimizationStrong project management and change management skillsBusiness fluency in English and local languageAbility to travel globallyDemonstrated leadership in cross-functional and hierarchical team environments
