This role sits within our Consumer PR Social & Influence business at Ogilvy PR. We are a team of 45 culturally curious creatively driven and impact-obsessed brand marketing experts who believe that brands andorganisationsare at their best when they find ways to earn attention.
The Role
As a member of theteamyoullsupport the delivery of social media and influencer strategy for major clients across the Ogilvy Network. Working alongside senior strategists and a dedicated team of content creators and community managersyoullbe hands-on across the full organic social workflow from social listening and content planning through to on-page publishing and reporting.
Youre genuinely passionate about social you know whats trending why it matters and how brands can show up authentically. You want to sharpen your strategic thinking while getting stuck into the craft ofmanaging social campaigns andmaking great social content every day.
What Youll Do
- Client delivery:Manage day-to-day social delivery for your clients. Keep work on track on brief and on time building trust through consistency and quality.
- Strategy & planning:Assist in developing social strategies rooted in insight and cultural relevance. Contribute to content planning channelstrategyand trend-led ideation with a point of view that adds value.
- Content & community:Support content creators and community managers across productionpublishingand engagement. Helpmaintaina high bar for everything that goes live.
- Reporting & insights:Assist with regular client reporting pulling data surfacinginsightsand helping tell the story ofwhatsworking and why.
- AI & innovation:UseWPP Opento streamline workflows improve content production and find smarter ways to deliver for clients.
- Growth:Identifyopportunities to add value for clients beyond the brief and contribute to new business efforts when called on.
What Youll Bring
- Solid knowledge of the major platforms:the formats the algorithm shifts the cultural forces shaping what works
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams without dropping the ball
- Attention to detail and pride in getting things right before they go live
- A creative eye for content and developing strategic instincts to back it up
- A good understanding of social content production processes from reactive and quick turnaround content to planning and management of shoots and live capture
- Experience managing talent and creators including developing auditing negotiating developing briefs and supporting content production
- Clear communication and good judgment on when to escalate
- Energy curiosity and a genuine hunger to learn from experienced strategists and creatives around you
