We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Tester to join our growing automotive engineering team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career engineers who are passionate about software quality testing and model-based development within automotive systems.

RoleDescription:

• Support the definition and implementation of software unit testing strategies in alignment with project requirements
• Develop and execute unit test cases based on software specifications and coverage targets
• Analyze test results document findings and report defects clearly
• Contribute to ensuring traceability between requirements and test cases
• Work with model-based development tools (e.g. MATLAB/Simulink SCADE) for testing activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in review-based workflows
• Use version control systems to manage test artifacts and code changes
• Support issue tracking and resolution using ALM or ticketing tools
• Escalate blockers and risks in a timely and structured manner

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science Electrical Engineering or related field
• 01 year of experience (internships academic projects or training included)
• Basic understanding of software unit testing principles and coverage metrics
• Exposure to model-based development tools (MATLAB/Simulink SCADE or similar)
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)
• Understanding of software development lifecycle models (V-Model preferred)
• Awareness of ASPICE is a plus
• Exposure to ALM or issue tracking tools (e.g. Jira Codebeamer) is a plus
• Good command of English; German is a plus
• Detail-oriented with structured working habits
• Team player comfortable in review-based workflows
• Ability to communicate blockers clearly and escalate when needed
• Knowledge of Groovy programming language/Spock Test Framework is a plus
