RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design Engineering (50%)
- Create modify and maintain 3D models assemblies and 2D drawings using CREO.
- Support concept development design iterations and engineering changes
- Ensure designs meet functional tolerance material and manufacturing requirements.
- Support prototyping testing and design validation activities
- Collaborate with manufacturing suppliers and quality teams to resolve design issues
- Maintain accurate design documentation and drawing standards.
Reliability Engineering (50%)
- Perform and support DFMEA / PFMEA risk and criticality analysis
- Support development of reliability and durability test plans
- Analyze test results and field feedback to identify failure mechanisms
- Support root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and corrective actions
- Drive design improvements to improve reliability durability and MTBF
- Apply reliability engineering principles throughout the product lifecycle
FUTURE ROLE EVOLUTION (100% RELIABILITY)
- As business needs evolve this role will transition toward full reliability ownership including defining reliability requirements leading validation activities driving failure analysis and corrective actions and acting as the focal point for product reliability performance.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
