Job Description:
Education/ Certification Mandatory:
- Graduation
Work Experience Mandatory:
- Minimum 5 years of web development experience
- Strong experience in WordPress development (multisite preferred)
- Experience with PHP JavaScript jQuery HTML CSS
- Experience with APIs and RESTful services
- Experience with Git/version control
- Strong understanding of WCAG accessibility standards
Education/Certifications Nice To Have:
- Certifications in Web Development / Accessibility / Agile (preferred but not required)
Work Experience Nice To Have:
- Experience in K-12 or public sector
- Experience with Pantheon hosting platform
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (New Relic SolarWinds ThousandEyes)
Roles And Responsibilities:
- Assess and improve existing WordPress websites
- Manage WordPress multisite environment
- Ensure performance security and reliability
- Handle plugin updates patching and version control
- Support DevOps (deployment monitoring uptime)
- Work with Pantheon hosting platform
- Collaborate with internal web services team
- Ensure WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance
- Provide reporting performance tracking and recommendations
