Estate Planning Attorney

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for an Estate Planning Attorney who enjoys working closely with clients building long-term relationships and delivering thoughtful customized legal this role you will take ownership of the full client lifecycle-from initial consultation through final execution-while collaborating with a high-performing and supportive team.

You will play a key role not only in providing legal expertise but also in shaping and improving the firms estate planning function contributing to process improvements and mentoring team members as the practice continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Client Consultations: Conduct in-depth strategy sessions identify client goals and recommend tailored estate planning solutions
  • Own the Client Experience: Manage the full lifecycle from intake through execution and follow-up ensuring a seamless and high-touch experience
  • Draft and Review Documents: Prepare wills trusts (revocable and irrevocable) powers of attorney advance directives and asset protection strategies
  • Build Lasting Relationships: Serve as a trusted advisor through consistent communication and long-term client engagement
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with legal administrative and operational teams to deliver efficient aligned services
  • Enhance Department Operations: Contribute to process improvements mentor team members and strengthen internal workflows and SOPs
  • Maintain Legal Excellence: Stay current with estate tax and elder law developments to provide forward-thinking legal guidance

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active bar admission in New Jersey (New York and/or Pennsylvania admission is a plus)
  • Minimum of 2 years of estate planning experience
  • Strong drafting analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear client-friendly manner
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Collaborative proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
