Job Summary
Snowflake Engineer
Data Engineering skills
- Experience in building and maintaining enterprise Data Lakes andor Data Warehouses.
- Design develop and maintain scalable high performance data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Snowflake and modern data engineering best practices.
- Architect and optimize Snowflake data models including schema design data clustering performance tuning and cost optimization.
- Collaborate closely with data analysts data scientists product teams and business stakeholders to convert clear requirements into robust data engineering solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data accuracy performance and pipeline reliability.
- Contribute to architectural decisions development standards and overall platform strategy.
- Work independently on complex tasks while also contributing to a collaborative team oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- 7 years of professional experience in Data Engineering or related fields.
- 5 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake including Snowflake SQL Snowflake Tasks Streams Warehouses RBAC Clustering and Performance Optimization.
- Strong expertise in SQL modern ETL/ELT frameworks and data pipeline development.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Proficiency in Python for data engineering.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory and/or Airflow
- Solid understanding of data modeling data warehousing principles and distributed data systems.
- Proven ability to work independently owning end to end solutions from requirement to deployment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workloads.
- Knowledge of Delta Lake Databricks Spark or other big data processing frameworks.
- Background in enterprise data platforms with high volumes and strict SLAs.
- Experience implementing data governance metadata management and quality frameworks.
- SnowPro certification(s) a plus.
