Data Engineering skills

• Experience in building and maintaining enterprise Data Lakes andor Data Warehouses.
• Design develop and maintain scalable high performance data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Snowflake and modern data engineering best practices.
• Architect and optimize Snowflake data models including schema design data clustering performance tuning and cost optimization.
• Collaborate closely with data analysts data scientists product teams and business stakeholders to convert clear requirements into robust data engineering solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data accuracy performance and pipeline reliability.
• Contribute to architectural decisions development standards and overall platform strategy.
• Work independently on complex tasks while also contributing to a collaborative team oriented environment.

Required Qualifications

• 7 years of professional experience in Data Engineering or related fields.
• 5 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake including Snowflake SQL Snowflake Tasks Streams Warehouses RBAC Clustering and Performance Optimization.
• Strong expertise in SQL modern ETL/ELT frameworks and data pipeline development.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory and/or Airflow
• Solid understanding of data modeling data warehousing principles and distributed data systems.
• Proven ability to work independently owning end to end solutions from requirement to deployment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workloads.
• Knowledge of Delta Lake Databricks Spark or other big data processing frameworks.
• Background in enterprise data platforms with high volumes and strict SLAs.
• Experience implementing data governance metadata management and quality frameworks.
• SnowPro certification(s) a plus.
