Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior SQL Developer / Data Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft SQL development and database management across both Azure and on-premises environments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing developing and optimizing scalable data solutions including data warehouses and data lakes while ensuring high performance reliability and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain complex SQL Server databases across Azure and on-premises environments
Build and optimize high-performance queries stored procedures and ETL processes
Lead data modeling efforts including conceptual logical and physical data models
Architect and implement scalable data warehouse and data lake solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data solutions
Ensure data quality governance and security best practices are implemented
Monitor and tune database performance indexing and query optimization
Support data integration using modern ETL/ELT tools and frameworks
Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server development (T-SQL stored procedures performance tuning)
Hands-on experience with Azure data services (Azure SQL Database Azure Data Factory Synapse Data Lake)
Solid experience in database design data modeling and architecture
Proven experience building and maintaining Data Warehouses and Data Lakes
Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data integration techniques
Experience with indexing strategies partitioning and query optimization
Knowledge of data governance security and compliance best practices
