Job Summary

Were hiring a hands-on Director of Frontend Engineering to lead the build of next-generation digital platforms for client and advisor experiences.

This is not a maintenance role - its a build modernize and lead opportunity where youll own the full journey from frontend architecture and platform strategy to delivery and adoption.

What Youll Do

Own and drive client & advisor-facing digital platforms
Lead frontend architecture (TypeScript modern JS frameworks UI/UX)
Build data-driven experiences leveraging Azure Fabric and modern data platforms
Integrate enterprise systems (CRM wealth platforms etc.) into seamless user journeys
Drive product-led delivery (roadmaps releases stakeholder alignment)
Enable AI-powered experiences (search copilots personalization)
Lead and mentor distributed engineering teams (onshore offshore)

What You Bring

10 years in software engineering with strong frontend expertise
5 years leading teams building modern web platforms at scale
Deep experience with TypeScript UI architecture performance accessibility
Experience in wealth management / financial platforms
Strong understanding of data-driven applications and system integrations
Exposure to AI-driven user experiences (RAG copilots personalization)

Location & Comp

Chicagoland (primarily remote with occasional in-person)
$220K $240K base
