DESCRIPTION:
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Staff Program Manager and contribute to driving innovation and excellence across our organization. As a program leader youll coordinate complex multi-disciplinary projects that directly impact scientific advancement and customer success. Youll manage strategic programs from inception through successful delivery ensuring thorough execution while fostering collaboration across functional teams. This role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in leading significant projects that enable our customers to make the world healthier cleaner and safer.

In this position youll will be responsible for building a strong KOL network and maintaining robust effective relationships with clinical sites. You will establish a strong site presence by nurturing partnerships with top-tier sites and KOLs while engaging early with emerging sites to drive operational excellence in project delivery. As the primary escalation point for key sites you will proactively resolve issues and minimize the need for client-facing escalations. develop comprehensive project plans coordinate cross-functional teams and maintain consistent communication with stakeholders at all levels. Youll identify and address risks while promoting accountability across the organization. Your strategic approach and strong leadership skills will be essential in delivering projects on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS:
Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience or Bachelors Degree plus 8 years of experience in program/project management leading complex technical initiatives
Preferred Fields of Study: Engineering Life Sciences Computer Science or related technical field

Extensive experience in clinical trial operations

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong understanding of emerging trends with the ability to leverage digital tools and solutions
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
SAFe or Agile certifications advantageous
Demonstrated success managing enterprise-level programs with significant business impact
Strong technical knowledge of regulated product development processes and quality systems
Strong communication and presentation skills across all organizational levels
Demonstrated ability to influence and promote accountability in matrix environments
Experience in building consensus and resolving conflicts effectively
Experience with project management methodologies tools and best practices
Proficiency with project management software and MS Office suite
Strong financial acumen for budget development and tracking
Ability to adapt leadership approach based on situation and audience
Experience managing external partner/vendor relationships
Strategic approach with ability to align programs to business objectives
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to travel up to 35% as needed
Collaborative team member with constructive approach
Self-directed with ability to work independently
