Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain internal accounting records and review accounting records prepared by a third-party administrator for assigned hedge funds and managed accounts.
- Perform trading position valuation comparisons and account reconciliations between Customers in-house trading system and those of the independent administrators.
- Provide client assistance and supporting information to the auditors for assigned funds. Assist with preparation of annual financial statements and related footnotes.
- Assist with preparation of tax schedules as requested.
- Identify areas for process improvement as it relates to the current processes including reconciliations and reporting process and help implement those improvements.
- Assist management with data gathering analysis and reporting requests on an ad hoc and routine basis.
- Perform special projects as requested.
Quality & Information Security Management:
- Adhere to and implement Infinit-Os quality and information security policies and carry out its processes and procedures accordingly.
- Protect client-supplied and generated for client information from unauthorized access disclosure modification destruction or interference (see also Table of Offenses).
- Carry out tasks as assigned and are aligned with particular process or activity related to information security.
- Report any potential or committed non-conformity observation and/or security event or risks to immediate superior.
- Assist Internal Audit Team during internal audits of assigned projects.
Requirements
Requirements:
- 1 - 3 years of work experience.
- Understanding of hedge fund structures and being familiar with various fixed income
- investment types including bonds and derivative products is preferred.
- Proficient MS Excel skills (filtering pivot tables vlookup data import) and the ability
- to present financial data in a neat and professional manner.
- Advent Geneva software experience.
- SQL knowledge is a strong plus.
- Have excellent analytical and communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA certification or masters degree preferred.
- Previous fund accounting experience is required. Public accounting experience is a plus.
Required Skills:
Graduate of Accounting or Equivalent (Accounting Technology) Candidate should have between 1-3 years of experience doing bookkeeping functions. Working in the Accounts Payable Department is an advantage. Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting Knowledgeable in spreadsheet computing application and word processing applications Thorough knowledge of accounting and finance policies and procedures QuickBooks experience is a plus Can work independently to conform to tight deadlines Has an excellent English written and oral communication skills Good analytical ability with excellent organizational & multi-tasking skills and outstanding attention to details Must be proactive motivated detail-oriented a team player and be able to implement any Service Level Agreement and metrics as per agreed with the client Must have excellent typing skills Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
