The City is seeking an experienced Horticultural Team Leader toprovide handson leadership and technical expertise across parksstreetscapes and foreshore reserves.

In this role you will lead horticultural field teams andcontractors to ensure highquality maintenance and constructionoutcomes while promoting safe work practices and excellentcustomer service.

To be considered for this role you must address thefollowing selection criteria as part of your onlineapplication:

1. Diploma in Horticulture or Certificate IV of Horticulture with substantial relevant experience
2. Current MR class drivers licence and Construction Induction Training (White Card)
3. Extensive horticultural knowledge including plant weed pest and disease identification
4. Strong experience in supervision of staff and contractors
5. Sound written and interpersonal skills particularly verbal communication and public relations
6. Intermediate level of computer literacy skills
7. Sound knowledge of safety and health legislation regulations policies and practices
8. Knowledge of municipal or commercial parks and gardens maintenance practices
9. Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment or able to work alone under direction

This position offers a weekly wage of $1559 (gross) whichincorporates all allowances and penalty rates as well as:

• 12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
