Where does this role fit in
The Responsive Repairs Manager sits within the Trades Department and reports to the Head of Responsive Repairs.
You will:
- Line manage Repairs Supervisors and Surveyors.
- Work closely with the Scheduling Manager to align resources and priorities.
- Collaborate with Commercial Performance other Trades managers and key contractors.
- Be part of the wider Repairs leadership team contributing to service planning and improvement.
This is a mobile role with regular travel across South Wales.
What skills and experience do you need
Were looking for someone who brings a calm structured and peoplecentred leadership style.
You will ideally have:
- Management experience within repairs maintenance housing or a similar operational environment.
- Confidence leading teams and supporting colleagues through change and service pressure.
- A strong customer focus and an understanding of how repairs services impact peoples lives.
- Experience using data and insight to improve service performance and value for money.
- The ability to communicate clearly and build strong working relationships across teams and with contractors.
- Knowledge of health & safety compliance and regulatory requirements relevant to repairs delivery.
A full UK driving licence is essential. Professional or technical qualifications (such as RICS CIOB or CIH) are welcome but not essential.
What are the pay and benefits
Time off and Flexibility
- This is a hybrid role based from either our Cwmbran or Swansea Trades office. Your base will be the location closest to your home.
- Working days are predominately Monday to Friday or you can work compressed hours on a 9 day fortnight.
- 26 days holiday plus Bank holidays. Rising to 31 days with an extra day for each full year of service.
- Maternity & Adoption Leave: 20 weeks
- Paternity Leave: 3 weeks

- The exact salary is 57317 for a 40 hour full time permanent position
- 45p per mile for mileage allowance
