Job Title: Construction Quality Engineer

Location: St. Louis MO (On-site)
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Pay Rate: $40- $45/hr On w2(Inclusive all)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Quality Engineer to oversee and ensure the quality of construction activities materials and processes. The role involves monitoring contractor work ensuring compliance with project specifications industry standards and safety regulations and maintaining high-quality deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA/QC plans for construction projects
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards
• Review and approve quality documentation including inspection reports test plans and material submittals
• Collaborate with project teams contractors and engineers to resolve quality issues
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Maintain detailed quality records reports and documentation
• Provide training and guidance on QA/QC processes to project teams
• Ensure adherence to industry standards codes and safety regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial preferred) Construction Management or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction QA/QC
• Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and quality standards
• Experience with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and models
• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management tools
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or QMP
• Experience in Life Sciences GMP or clean room construction projects
