This role can be based in Malaysia/ Thailand/Singapore/Philippines.
Summary
Enterprise Resilience & Business Continuity manager serves as the companys central coordinator and subject-matter expert for all aspects of business continuity crisis management and organizational resilience. This enterprise-wide role is responsible for designing implementing maintaining and continuously improving a robust integrated resilience program that enables the organization to prepare for respond to and recover from disruptive events with minimal impact to people operations reputation and financial performance.
In business-as-usual state the role functions as a lead globalBusiness Continuity Program Owner. During major incidents or crises the incumbent serves asIncident Commander(or Deputy) within the enterprise crisis management framework providing unified command coordination and communication across all affected functions.
Because major incident response is not full-time the position alsoperforms other risk and insurance duties including property risk improvement and loss preventionfor the companys global manufacturing and operational assets in close partnership with operations external risk engineers and insurance carriers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Consultation and support for the Business Continuity including business impact analyses (BIAs) recovery strategies crisis management plans and supporting policies/tools.
Develop and deliver enterprise-wide training tabletop/functional/full-scale exercises and post-exercise or post-incident improvement plans.
Serve as central coordinator and primary point of contact for resilience-related activities across business units regions and corporate functions.
During disruptions activate and lead asIncident Commander(or Deputy) establishing command structure directing cross-functional response teams managing internal/external communications and maintaining situational awareness in collaboration with executive leadership.
Lead after-action reviews and drive lessons-learned into program enhancements
Monitor and report on resilience KPIs/KRIs; maintain alignment with standards such as ISO 22301 and applicable regulatory requirements
Property and Risk Engineering Duties
Partner with manufacturing sites external risk engineers and insurance partners to identify prioritize and execute risk-improvement recommendations that reduce property and casualty exposures.
Coordinate site risk assessments track completion of recommendations and support favorable insurance underwriting outcomes.
Recommend and approve major protective equipment and loss-control investments.
General Risk Management Support
Support collection and validation of data for annual insurance renewals in collaboration with the corporate risk management team.
Support property and casualty claims as needed.
Review contracts leases and agreements for appropriate insurance and indemnification provisions.
Maintain awareness of global risk conditions and emerging risks that could impact the corporation.
Provide risk management guidance to subsidiaries and international offices.
Other Duties
Domestic and international travel 15-25% (site visits exercises insurance meetings incident response).
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required
Bachelors Degree in Risk Management Business Continuity Emergency Management Insurance Engineering or related field
Preferred
Experience with resilience platforms like Everbridge Crisis24 Alert Media etc. preferred
7 years of progressive experience in business continuity crisis management risk management or property loss prevention (manufacturing environment strongly preferred)
Experience serving in an Incident Command / Crisis Leadership role highly desirable.
Skills
Insurance terminology
Regulatory Compliance and Standards as it relates to Business Continuity and Crisis Response
Familiarity with safety and environmental engineering construction practices OSHA rulings labor law building costs and fire codes.
Ability to leverage AI enabled applications to improve efficiency decision making and workflow automation
