BC&PA Manager CDD (6 months)
Job Summary
The Communications Manager will be an integral part of Clifford Chances Global Brand Communications & Marketing team. This role focuses on supporting the execution of the communications strategy in France. The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members to enhance the firms brand presence and thought leadership in the local office. The role will also be part of the global community of Communications specialists working collaboratively to enhance the firms reputation and visibility worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to developing and implementing an external communications strategy that aligns with the firms priority growth strategy areas and is tailored to the local market in collaboration with senior team members.
- Alongside the Head of Business Development Marketing & Communications Paris partner with the global external comms leads responsible for key growth themes i.e. Private Capital and Tech and key sectors (Energy Healthcare etc.) to align on profiling priorities and consistent messaging.
- Manage our press agency and ensure performance follow-up to support Clifford Chances visibility and reputation.
- Draft and distribute press releases media briefings and other communication materials.
- Support partners and practice groups in identifying and promoting significant initiatives and achievements.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends to provide insights for communication strategies.
- Partner closely with the digital team to implement digital and social media strategies to enhance engagement and reach in the region.
- Alongside the Head of Business Development Marketing & Communications Paris develop an internal communications strategy to support the local leadership aligned to their local and European business priorities and global firm strategy.
- Develop plans for communications programmes and activities to educate and motivate employees around these business priorities.
- Support communications for local cultural initiatives aligned to the firms inclusion framework.
- Maintain internal key messaging for leadership and drive news and content ensuring they are executed in a timely and aligned manner.
- Advise leaders on optimising their internal messaging and communications strategies to reflect their work effectively.
- Maintain up-to-date awareness of key news across the legal sector.
- Regularly evaluate the impact and effectiveness of communications outputs making necessary adaptations to enhance engagement.
This role reports to the Head of Business Development Marketing & Communications Paris.
Qualifications :
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in external communications preferably within the legal or professional services sector.
- Ability to manage media relations and support successful communications campaigns.
- Knowledge of the French market with media contacts being an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French
- Proficiency in digital communications tools and platforms including AI
