Mandatory Internship in Purchasing Automotive Chips
Job Summary
- During your internship you will actively support our central semiconductor purchasing team in preparing supplier comparisons and contributing to sourcing decisions including project awards and supplier auctions.
- You will be involved in the development of purchasing strategies at both material group and supplier level working closely with our R&D and engineering teams to align technical and commercial requirements.
- Furthermore you will gain hands-on exposure to contract and price negotiations by participating directly in discussions with suppliers. Depending on your level of experience you may also be given ownership of smaller negotiation topics.
- On a regular basis you will assist the team with purchasing analyses to help create transparency regarding costs supplier performance and market developments.
Qualifications :
- Education: studies in the field of Business Administration Industrial Engineering or comparable
- Experience and Knowledge: of MS Office especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience in the automotive sector advantageous
- Personality and Working Practice: you are a self-driven goal-oriented team player with good communication skills who can think and act strategically
- Enthusiasm: motivation about AI semiconductors and working in an international environment
- Languages: very good in German and English

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months (confirmation of mandatory internship required)
