Staff Engineer, PHP (Gutenberg)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total experience 5 years.
• Expertise in designing developing and maintaining multi-tenant web applications using PHP with Gutenberg React and SQL Server.
• Should be able to design and deliver custom themes and plugins develop React-based Gutenberg blocks integrate REST APIs and collaborate in an Agile team to ship customer-facing features with strong engineering and coding standards.
• Hands on experience in working with MS SQL Server 2019 to design optimize and manage complex databases.
• Should be able to build and maintain high-performance secure WordPress websites on AWS.
• Solid experience with HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript (ES6) and modern front-end development tools.
• Write clean maintainable and efficient PHP and React code following best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues ensuring high performance and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers and DevOps engineers.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integration of front-end with back-end services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure that your ideas strategies and successes resonate within the team and with clients.

RESPONSIBILITY:

• Writing and reviewing great quality code.
• Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analysing the clients needs in the context of the project.
• Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements and being able to define technologies patterns and frameworks to realize it.
• Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets.
• Enabling application development by coordinating requirements schedules and activities.
• Being able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs.
• Creating understanding and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task and being able to justify it.
• Addressing issues promptly responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement.
• Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
• Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs.
• Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken.
• Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.

Qualifications :

Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
