Job Summary

A well-established and growing organisation is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement & Office Assistant to support both purchasing activities and daily office operations.
This is an ideal opportunity for a highly organised individual who enjoys balancing procurement coordination with administrative responsibilities in a structured fast-paced environment.


You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the office while supporting the procurement function through supplier coordination order processing and stock management.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement

  • Source suppliers and obtain quotations
  • Compare pricing quality and delivery timelines
  • Prepare and process purchase orders
  • Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain accurate supplier records and procurement documentation
  • Monitor stock levels and manage reordering of supplies
  • Support basic supplier negotiations and cost management

Office Administration

  • Perform general administrative duties (filing data capturing document control)
  • Manage office supplies and inventory
  • Coordinate meetings appointments and schedules
  • Handle incoming calls emails and correspondence
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping and expense tracking
  • Support HR administration including employee records and contracts
  • Assist with monthly staff timesheets

Requirements

  • Diploma or certificate in Business Administration Procurement or related field (advantageous)
  • 13 years experience in procurement and/or office administration
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes and supplier coordination
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook)
  • Strong organisational and multitasking ability
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
