As a Design for TestEngineer (m/f/d) you define and implement robust test concepts for analog and mixed-signal ICs in the automotive environment. You drive test strategies from concept to production optimize coverage cost and test time and collaborate closely with design and otherengineering teams to ensure testability and quality while supporting functional safety in line with ISO 26262.
Completed studies in Electrical Engineering Microelectronics or a comparable field
Several years of professional experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design preferably in automotive applications
Proven experience in Design-for-Test (DfT) for AMS circuits including production test concepts and fault coverage strategies
Strong knowledge of analog circuit design (e.g. amplifiers data converters sensor interfaces power management blocks)
Solid understanding of automotive standards and requirements (e.g. AEC-Q100 ISO 26262 functional safety concepts)
Experience with test cost optimization yield improvement and quality metrics in high-volume production
Good knowledge of statistical methods data analysis and characterization techniques
Strong analytical thinking and the ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly across disciplines
Experience in cross-functional collaboration with design verification product engineering and test engineering teams
Fluent English skills (written and spoken)
Defining and implementing robust DfT architectures for analog and mixed-signal ICs in automotive applications
Driving test strategy development from concept phase through production ensuring compliance with automotive quality and safety standards
Introducing and maintaining a pipeline for test innovations with a focus on improving coverage quality and cost efficiency
Defining and achieving best-in-class targets for test coverage test time and overall test cost
Analyzing production and characterization data to identify yield limitations and drive continuous improvement
Supporting and influencing analog design teams to ensure testability is integrated early in the design phase
Developing and promoting reuse concepts for DfT structures test methods and evaluation flows across multiple projects
Collaborating with product engineering and test engineering to optimize ATE test programs and qualification flows
Contributing to functional safety concepts (e.g. diagnostic coverage safety mechanisms) in alignment with ISO 26262
A futureproof job at an innovate hightech company that is wellestablished in the global market and has a flat organisation and a positive handson culture
Challenging and varied tasks performed in an innovative and collegial work environment
Extensive job familiarisation as well as regular special training and further training provided to ensure your continuous development
The opportunity to advance your career as a specialist or manager talent pool
Additional benefits such as a corporate office gym offering fitness courses (Dortmund) free accident insurance cover a company pension scheme a cafeteria (Dortmund) health management company events and social services flexitime with time account mobile working possible
