Remote Scheduler

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Remote Scheduler to join our team at Meyer Plastics Inc. As a Remote Scheduler you will be responsible for coordinating production schedules managing timelines and ensuring efficient workflow across our plastics manufacturing operations. Your role will involve working closely with production supply chain and sales teams to align customer demand with manufacturing capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain daily weekly and monthly production schedules
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely completion of manufacturing orders
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods
• Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate delays equipment issues or changes in demand
• Communicate schedule updates and priorities to relevant departments
• Track order progress and ensure on-time delivery to customers
• Analyze scheduling data to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure material availability
• Maintain accurate records in scheduling and ERP systems

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in scheduling production planning or operations (manufacturing preferred)
• Familiarity with plastics manufacturing processes (e.g. injection molding extrusion) is a plus
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency in scheduling software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle or similar)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
