Assistant General Manager

The Restaurant Assistant General Manager (RAGM) supports the General Manager in running daily restaurant operations. This role focuses on managing staff controlling costs maintaining food quality and safety supporting marketing efforts and delivering excellent guest service. The goal is to lead a strong team that consistently provides high-quality food and hospitality in a safe clean and profitable restaurant.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

Education: High school diploma is typically required; a Bachelors degree in Hospitality Business or Culinary Arts is preferred.

Experience: 35 years of management experience in the food service industry.

Leadership: Ability to motivate diverse teams delegate effectively and remain calm in high-pressure fast-paced environments.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with restaurant management software Point of Sale (POS) systems (e.g. Toast) and basic Microsoft Office Suite.

Certifications: Requires valid food manager and TABC alcohol awareness certifications
