POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Litigation Attorney to join our premier well-established law firm. This role is ideal for a legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced high-volume environment and brings a strategic approach to foreclosure and creditors rights litigation. You will manage a diverse caseload and represent the firm in contested legal matters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Litigation Management: Manage a high-volume caseload from referral through resolution including contested matters and complex litigation.

• Document Preparation: Prepare review and approve foreclosure-related pleadings motions discovery requests and other litigation documents.

• Courtroom Advocacy: Represent clients in mediations depositions hearings and court appearances (both telephonic and in-person).

• Strategic Analysis: Perform issue spotting develop litigation strategy and review loan documents title work and chains of title to ensure accuracy.

• Client & Internal Partnering: Communicate proactively with clients regarding case status litigation strategy and risk assessment. Collaborate with internal legal staff and support teams to ensure timely case progression.

• Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with court deadlines procedural requirements and client-specific expectations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Licensure: Must be an active member in good standing with The Massachusetts Bar.

• Experience: Prior litigation experience is required; foreclosure and/or creditors rights experience is strongly preferred.

• Core Competencies: * Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload.

  • Strong courtroom presence with confidence handling hearings and contested matters.

  • Excellent legal writing analytical and oral advocacy skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
