Job Summary
IT Infrastructure Monitoring Consultant// ELK engineers.
Location: Orange County CT
Elastic (ELK)
Required Skillset
Monitoring & Observability Tools:
Advanced hands-on experience with Elastic Stack (ELK) for synthetic transactions log aggregation analysis and visualization; BMC Helix / Patrol / KM and Entuity.
Operating Systems:
Knowledge of Windows and Unix/Linux systems including troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
Cloud Monitoring:
Experience using Azure Monitor and AWS CloudWatch to monitor cloud-based infrastructure and services.
Networking:
Understanding of networking concepts protocols and monitoring methodologies to support infrastructure monitoring and diagnostics
ITSM & CMDB:
Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM/CMDB platforms and integration with monitoring and discovery tools
Monitoring Methodologies:
Knowledge of application network server and storage monitoring synthetic transactions and alerting strategies
Troubleshooting & RCA:
Proven ability to perform advanced troubleshooting root cause analysis and implement corrective solutions
Project Management:
Experience managing multiple initiatives related to monitoring tool deployment upgrades and optimization
Frameworks & Best Practices:
Understanding of ITIL processes observability concepts and monitoring best practices
Communication Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Certifications (Nice to Have)
Elastic Certified Engineer BMC certifications
