We are seeking an Advanced SAP Functional Consultant to join a specialized DevOps team focused on Payments and Cash.

You will take ownership of bank master data and foreign exchange rate processes ensuring sustainable delivery and operational stability for the group s global financial systems.

Treasury Specialist: Manage and optimize the lifecycle of bank master data and FX rates within a global S/4HANA environment.

Data Governance: Lead the analysis and resolution of complex functional queries related to financial master data acting as a bridge between business and IT.

Global Impact: Build and maintain scalable treasury solutions that support international payment processes and financial reporting.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting Computer Science Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 10 years of experience in Treasury and/or SAP Treasury functional roles.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience in Master Data and FX areas.
• Essential: Proven experience working with S/4HANA Treasury or equivalent treasury systems.
• Advantageous: SAP TRM experience and relevant certifications.

Essential Skills & Technologies:

• Deep functional expertise in Treasury processes with strong focus on master data and foreign exchange (FX) management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Treasury in S/4HANA (TRM In-House Cash Cash Management) or equivalent treasury systems.
• Proven ability to elicit document and model as is and to be business processes for treasury and FX scenarios.
• Strong knowledge of FX valuation revaluation translation and accounting flows and related configuration.
• Experience defining governing and cleansing treasury master data (counterparties bank accounts instruments rates currencies).
• Ability to create clear functional specifications solution blueprints and acceptance criteria for development teams.
• Experience preparing test scenarios executing functional testing and supporting UAT for treasury/FX changes.
• Solid stakeholder management and facilitation skills for workshops with Treasury Finance Payments and IT teams.
• Good understanding of integrations between treasury systems and ERP payment hubs market data feeds and banking connectivity.
• Knowledge of authorisations and role scoping for treasury activities (segregation of duties access to FX operations).

Advantageous Skills:

• SAP certification in Treasury (TRM) or related FI/CO modules.
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 applications for treasury front-end or exposure to Fiori implementation patterns.
• Familiarity with multi bank connectivity solutions SWIFT/EBICS and banking hubs or cloud bank integrations.
• Exposure to Solution Manager ChaRM or other ALM tools (Jira Confluence) in an agile delivery context.
• Prior experience in global template roll-outs or supporting multi-entity finance landscapes.
• Knowledge of external market data providers (e.g. Reuters Bloomberg) and FX rate interfaces.
• Experience with master data governance frameworks and tools (MDM/MDG).
• Background working in multinational cross timezone teams and in regulated financial environments.
• Experience supporting migration activities to S/4HANA or Treasury transformation programmes.
• Familiarity with basic scripting or SQL for data validation and mass updates is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead functional design governance and day to day management of treasury master data and FX processes.
• Analyse current-state master data and FX workflows; define and document target-state processes and controls.
• Produce end-to-end functional specifications process maps and configuration requirements for implementing teams.
• Define FX configuration (valuation revaluation translation rules) mapping to GL flows and ensure accounting accuracy.
• Coordinate integration requirements with payment platforms bank connectivity market data providers and other ERP modules.
• Drive master data cleansing enrichment and lifecycle management activities including bulk upload designs and reconciliation checks.
• Prepare and maintain test plans design test cases for treasury and FX scenarios and support UAT execution and sign-off.
• Work closely with developers during build and defect fix cycles; review deliverables against functional requirements.
• Support production cutover post-go live hypercare and transition knowledge to operations and support teams.
• Define and support implementation of role based authorisations for treasury processes ensuring appropriate controls.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops regular status reporting and alignment between Treasury Finance and IT stakeholders.
• Propose continuous improvements and optimisations for FX processing master data flows and operational efficiency.
• Provide 3rd level functional support to target systems regarding bank master data and exchange rate queries .
