Were now looking for an experienced Accounts & Finance Administrator to support the financial operations of the business and ensure our financial processes remain accurate organised and audit-ready.
This role is particularly suited to someone who enjoys working in a structured compliance-focused environment where attention to detail documentation discipline and financial accuracy are critical.
What youll do
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Xero including raising invoices.
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Process accounts payable and monitor accounts receivable.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and maintain debtor discipline.
- Complete credit card reconciliations and expense coding.
- Prepare weekly accounts receivable ageing reports.
- Maintain a rolling cash position tracker to support cashflow visibility.
- Monitor revenue against monthly targets.
- Flag financial risks inconsistencies or emerging financial pressure points to the CEO.
- Prepare month-end documentation for the external Chartered Accountant.
- Maintain structured financial documentation to ensure the business remains audit-ready and compliant.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen financial controls and internal processes.
- Support financial governance within a compliance-heavy professional services environment.
What youll bring
- Minimum 5 years experience in bookkeeping or accounts administration.
- Strong Xero proficiency (essential).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Experience working in a compliance-heavy or regulated industry such as legal accounting financial services healthcare or immigration is highly desirable.
- Confidence working directly with business leadership.
- Ability to identify inconsistencies and proactively flag potential financial risks.
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership over financial accuracy.
- Legal right to work in New Zealand.
