- Conduct architecture reviews for new cloud deployments and application integrations.
- Support secure migration of applications from on-premises environments to cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure proper segmentation identity controls and access management for application environments.
- Implement security controls in Infrastructure as Code (IAAC) environments such as Terraform ARM templates or CloudFormation.
- Develop automated security checks within provisioning pipelines.
- Establish guardrails to enforce secure configuration of infrastructure resources.
- Work with engineering teams to remediate misconfigurations and vulnerabilities.
- Perform threat modeling for cloud-hosted applications and supporting infrastructure.
- Evaluate risks related to Cloud misconfigurations Identity and privilege escalation Data exposure Insecure networking Shared responsibility model
- Monitor cloud environments for vulnerabilities configuration drift and security risks.
- Partner with engineering teams to prioritize remediation activities.
- Implement continuous monitoring capabilities for cloud security posture.
- Serve as the security advisor for cloud platform engineering and infrastructure teams.
- Support investigation of potential cloud security incidents affecting applications or infrastructure.
MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications) - 8 years of experience
- Experience implementing Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) solutions.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture in cloud environments.
- Experience with secure cloud landing zones and enterprise cloud governance.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST ISO 27001 CIS Benchmarks
- Strong understanding of
- Cyber Security NIST frameworks
- OWASP
- Cloud Native architectures and services
- Identity and Access Management in cloud environments
- Deep hands-on experience securing applications deployed on IAAS platforms
- Strong communication skills to upper management and leadership
