Developer | JavaScript (ES6+), Redux, UIUX, Web Performance Optimization

Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an experienced React JS Developer to lead the development of dynamic high-quality web applications. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design implement and optimize user interfaces ensuring responsiveness maintainability and performance. The ideal candidate will contribute to driving innovative solutions that enhance user experience and support the organizations digital transformation initiatives.

Software Requirements

• Required:

  • Proven expertise in (latest LTS version) and Redux for building scalable maintainable front-end applications

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6) and HTML5/CSS3 for creating responsive functional UI components

  • Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL for data integration

  • Version control experience with Git and platforms such as GitHub or Bitbucket

  • Familiarity with front-end build tools like Webpack Babel npm/yarn for project automation

  • Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest Mocha or Enzyme for unit and integration testing

• Preferred:

  • Experience with CSS-in-JS libraries like Styled Components Tailwind CSS or Material UI

  • Exposure to performance monitoring profiling and optimization techniques

  • Familiarity with modern design systems and UI/UX best practices

Overall Responsibilities

• Develop enhance and maintain responsive user-centric web interfaces using and Redux

• Collaborate with product managers UI/UX designers and backend teams to implement functional and engaging features

• Write clean modular and testable code following best practices and coding standards

• Conduct code reviews provide constructive feedback and ensure code quality and consistency across projects

• Optimize application performance responsiveness and accessibility for a variety of devices and browsers

• Support continuous integration and deployment pipelines ensuring smooth releases and updates

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues proactively ensuring high availability and security

• Keep abreast of latest web development trends tools and frameworks recommending improvements

Technical Skills (By Category)

• Programming Languages:
  Required: JavaScript (ES6) Redux
  Preferred: TypeScript JavaScript testing tools (Jest Enzyme)

• Databases & Data Management:
  Understanding of REST APIs and data fetching with experience in integrating APIs and data visualization tools

• Cloud Technologies:
  Basic knowledge of cloud deployment including AWS Azure or GCP for hosting and scaling front-end applications

• Frameworks & Libraries:
  Redux Material UI Tailwind CSS Styled Components GraphQL (preferred)

• Development & Build Tools:
  Webpack Babel npm/yarn Git Jenkins CI/CD pipelines Agile/Scrum practices

• Security & Accessibility:
  Implementing secure coding practices accessibility standards and performance best practices

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience specializing in development

• Proven success building and maintaining large-scale responsive web applications

• Hands-on experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs and GraphQL services

• Familiarity with modern state management tools such as Redux or Context API

• Prior experience with Agile delivery and DevOps practices including CI/CD automation

Day-to-Day Activities

• Develop and maintain feature-rich responsive web interfaces aligned with user experience principles

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and product owners for requirement clarification and feature implementation

• Conduct code reviews unit testing and optimize component performance and load times

• Troubleshoot and debug issues ensuring smooth functionality across browsers and devices

• Support integration efforts with back-end services and APIs

• Participate in sprint planning backlog grooming and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related discipline

• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in development

• Strong understanding of JavaScript and front-end design patterns

• Relevant certifications or training in JavaScript or front-end performance optimization are a plus

• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality scalable and user-friendly web applications
