Professional Experience

• 3 years of experience in creating Technical Designs including High Level and Detailed level leading to implementation covering processing power network segmentation security principles monitoring backup and restore with expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Citrix Provisioning Services and Omnissa Horizon focusing on virtual desktop infrastructure and application delivery solutions including presenting and defending solutions to business technical and management stakeholders
• 5 years of hands-on experience in Citrix and Horizon environments with experience in designing and delivering enterprise VDI and application delivery solutions configuring and optimizing Citrix components including Delivery Controllers StoreFront Director Citrix Gateway working with hybrid and cloud-based VDI solutions monitoring and analytics tools including Citrix Director and VMware vRealize securing Citrix environments assessing infrastructure for optimization managing instant clone pools and profile management implementing CVAD PVS Horizon deployments or upgrades integrating PVS and Horizon with VMware vSphere
• 5 years of experience in installation implementation and configuration of Server Operating Systems including Microsoft Windows and Linux in physical or virtual environments including interaction with infrastructure such as CIFS SMB NFS file shares secure LDAP integration public key certificates service accounts APIs
• 2 years of experience in adapting infrastructure designs and applying security hardening for hardware operating systems and applications using frameworks such as CIS guidelines including troubleshooting related to hardening
• 3 years of experience in documenting technical specifications including infrastructure design deployment views server and network specifications and operational procedures
• 3 years of experience in technical negotiation with stakeholders including ICT Security Governance Data Protection ICT Operations Solution teams and Project Management and incorporating outcomes into design deliverables

Professional Knowledge

• Good knowledge of creating technical designs at high level and detailed level leading to implementation
• Good knowledge of integrating Citrix and Horizon infrastructure with VMware vSphere and Microsoft Active Directory configuring Connection Servers UAG Dynamic Environment Manager managing instant clone pools and profile management integrating Horizon with identity providers
• Good knowledge of implementing CVAD and PVS deployments or upgrades integrating PVS with VMware vSphere managing delivery controllers StoreFront Director integrating Citrix with identity providers securing Citrix environments and assessing infrastructure for optimization
• Good knowledge of installation implementation and configuration of Microsoft Windows and Linux server operating systems in physical and virtual environments including CIFS SMB NFS LDAP certificates service accounts APIs
• Good knowledge of implementing security hardening for hardware operating systems and applications using frameworks such as CIS guidelines including troubleshooting
