Job Title: Registered Nurse Correctional Setting

Duration: 26 Weeks
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive healthcare services within a correctional facility. The role involves patient assessment diagnosis treatment planning and collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure quality care delivery in a secure environment.
Schedule
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM 2:00 PM
- Rotating schedule over a 2-week period (includes overnights day and mid shifts)
- Facility operates 7 days a week
- Partial shifts may be available
Key Responsibilities
- Perform physical examinations and assess patient health conditions
- Diagnose illnesses and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
- Order interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests
- Document clinical findings treatment plans and patient progress
- Administer medications and therapeutic treatments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for care planning
- Educate patients on health conditions and treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with correctional healthcare protocols and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Certification in a specialty area as required by NYS Education Department
- Experience in clinical assessment diagnosis and patient care
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work in a secure fast-paced environment
