Hosted within the Business Schools research centre Juncture: Dialogues on Inclusive Capitalism this work places the University at the centre of a global network advancing inclusive economic growth labour rights and sustainable development.

Te Whiwhinga mahi The opportunity

We are seeking a Project Manager to support the successful delivery of the SDG 8 Hub. This role provides project management oversight across the Hubs core workstreams - research education and engagement - working closely with leadership theme leads and an international network of partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining work plans timelines and reporting frameworks driving delivery across multiple workstreams in a complex and evolving environment
  • Building managing and influencing relationships with internal and external stakeholders including global partners industry and community organisations to achieve shared outcomes
  • Supporting governance processes including coordinating inputs for the Steering Group and maintaining oversight of key actions and decisions
  • Supporting the development and delivery of events forums and collaborative initiatives
  • Leading communications and content development translating complex ideas into clear and engaging outputs for a range of audiences
  • Supporting research impact activities and providing operational oversight to ensure the effective running of the Hub

This is a part-time (22.5 hours per week) 2-year fixed-term opportunity.
The remuneration range for this role is $110000 - $121900 depending on skills and experience.

Mōu About you

You will bring strong project management experience and a collaborative approach with the ability to navigate complex environments and build effective relationships.

We are looking for:

  • Proven experience managing complex projects ideally within a research public sector or large organisation environment
  • Ability to bring structure to ambiguity manage multiple priorities and maintain momentum
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and deliver outcomes without direct authority
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience developing clear engaging content
  • Experience supporting senior stakeholders or governance groups is advantageous
  • A relevant tertiary qualification
