Overview

The Commissioning Associate II is responsible for working as a member of the commissioning team in order to confirm that building systems are designed installed and operated to meet the building owners project requirements and the design intent. They will frequently interact with the owner owners representatives contractors design engineers and architects to fulfill the essential duties and responsibilities of the position.

Responsibilities

Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills.
Generates pre-functional checklists.
Generates functional performance tests.
Performs functional performance tests.
Observes equipment startup and prepares reports.
Performs project site observations and updates issues log.
Attends and/ or Leads Construction and Commissioning coordination meetings
Schedules and coordinates commissioning activities with multiple parties.
Reviews contractor documentation.
Participates in owner training.
Assists with development of the commissioning plan and final commissioning report
Ensure client deliverables meet ENFRAs quality standards at delivery
Foster a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.
Upholds ENFRAs owner advocacy philosophy and organizational core values.

Qualifications

Required Education Experience and Qualifications


3 years of commissioning or related building construction experience; mechanical plumbing automatic temperature control systems and/or testing adjusting and balancing
Experience with building construction especially mechanical plumbing automatic temperature control systems and / or testing adjusting and balancing.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint OneNote)
Proficient with Cloud Based Commissioning software Platforms (CxAlloy)
Familiarity with Bluebeam software
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work as part of a team and build collaborative relationships.
Able to interact with owner owners representatives contractors engineers and architects in a professional manner
Versed in the industry and companys competitors

Preferred Education Experience and Qualifications


Associates degree or higher preferred
ANSI Commissioning Certification Credentials (BCCB ACG ASHRAE etc.)

Travel Requirements


25-40% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.

Pay Range

USD $25.13 - USD $33.56 /Hr.
