The Role
This is a high-impact executive position steering the ambitious Go Global mandate for a Top-tier Domestic Consumer Group. While we currently dominate the domestic market with a near-100% household penetration rate our most critical growth frontier is taking our culinary heritage and premium packaged goods to the world. As the Head of Global Business Expansion you will architect and execute a high-growth export strategy transitioning our portfolio from domestic mainstays to globally recognized brands. Targeting key markets across North America North Asia (Japan South Korea) the EU and beyond you will own the international P&L and drive our vision to serve billions of global consumers.

What Youll Do
- Global Market Orchestration: Blueprint and execute comprehensive Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for priority regions. You will build robust scalable distribution networks and forge strategic joint ventures with top-tier international retailers shifting our presence from niche ethnic aisles to mainstream retail dominance.
- Portfolio Premiumization & Compliance: Partner seamlessly with R&D and manufacturing to adapt our domestic champions. You will ensure absolute compliance with rigorous international food safety ESG and traceability standards (e.g. FDA EFSA) while hyper-localizing taste profiles and packaging.
- International Brand Building: Direct multi-million-dollar international trade and consumer marketing budgets. You will transition our products from an export-push model to a brand-pull model building deep brand equity from the ground up in highly competitive foreign territories.
- Cross-Border Strategic Alignment: Work in lockstep with the domestic supply chain and operations teams to guarantee seamless cost-effective global logistics proactively navigating international tariffs free trade agreements and macroeconomic shifts.
What Were Looking For
- Global Commercial Pedigree: 15 years of progressive commercial export or international business development experience within the global FMCG / Food & Beverage sector operating at an executive level.
- Proven Go Global Track Record: You have a definitive quantifiable history of successfully scaling consumer brands into highly regulated high-barrier markets (specifically the US Japan South Korea or Western Europe).
- Deep International Network: You bring an established powerful network of tier-1 global distributors international modern trade retail buyers and cross-border commercial partners.
- Entrepreneurial Agility: The ability to operate with the hustle and adaptability of a startup while strategically deploying the vast resources of a multi-billion-dollar corporate ecosystem. You possess a highly analytical data-driven approach to market entry and risk mitigation.
