Position: Lead Generation & Sales Pipeline Coordinator
Type: Part-Time (20 hours per week)
Schedule: Fixed (Central Time)
Compensation: $7 USD/hour
Key Responsibilities
1. Opener Lead Workflow Management
Manage daily workflows within the Opener platform
Review and qualify retailer interest
Organize inbound buyer responses and sample requests
Move interested accounts efficiently through the pipeline
Route high-priority opportunities to appropriate stakeholders
Maintain accurate lead status updates and next steps
2. Sample Request Coordination
Oversee the full process from sample request to shipment
Confirm shipping details buyer contact information and timelines
Coordinate sample pack requests with internal teams
Track shipments and monitor send dates
Follow up after delivery to confirm receipt and assess interest
Ensure no qualified sample opportunity goes cold
3. Lead Research & Prospecting
Build and maintain prospect lists across:
Independent retail
Specialty grocery
Natural product channels
Research buyer contacts retailers store groups and regional opportunities
Expand prospecting beyond Opener using web research and databases
Identify new accounts aligned with the ideal customer profile
Surface distributor and broker opportunities where relevant
Keep lead databases accurate and actionable
4. CRM & Sales Pipeline Management
Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline visibility
Update account stages contact details sample statuses and follow-up dates
Log all interactions feedback and internal notes
5. Reporting & Process Improvement
Track:
Response rates
Sample conversion rates
Lead progression
Identify bottlenecks in the sales workflow
Recommend improvements to increase speed-to-close
Help build SOPs for repeatable processes
Continuously improve follow-up systems and pipeline visibility
Requirements
Experience in:
Lead generation
SDR support
Sales coordination
Pipeline management
Strong attention to detail and CRM discipline
Ability to manage high volumes of leads and follow-ups
Strong written communication and professional follow-up skills
Commercial awareness to identify qualified retail opportunities
Comfortable with research systems and process ownership
Experience in CPG retail natural foods or wholesale (preferred)
Experience with sample workflows (highly preferred)
