Job Summary
Jadeer is hiring on behalf of one of its clients a global US company in the trademark field.
Job Title: Senior Accountant.
Reporting to: CFO.
Main Responsibilities:
- Review and/or preparation of accounting entries and operations including but not limited to:
- Statement of Account reconciliation for Clients Suppliers Branch offices Shareholders Sister Companies etc.
- Bank & Cash reconciliations review.
- Invoicing and payments (if needed).
- Accounting entries (recurrent and automated entries monthly manual entries accruals and other provisions etc.).
- Fixed Asset Register reconciliation and review.
- Reporting and control:
- Aging report and analysis (Receivable and Payable balances).
- Overview and monitoring of collections.
- Overview and monitoring of payments and expenses.
- Preparation and review of Financial Statements.
- Balance Sheet balances review and analysis.
- Consistent and timely followup on open balance sheet items.
- Monthly quarterly and yearend closing.
- Maintain the general ledger.
- ERP system and accounting records accuracy:
- Support team in the maintenance of the ERP system for all branches of the Company including but not limited to regular accounting overview in addition to consistent:
- Review of Opening balances.
- Review of Customers & Vendors master data.
- Review the items list (Price lists).
- Create and automate entries and recurring accounting entries.
- Review of General Ledger.
- Review of Taxation rules and system implementation.
- Other:
- Mentor/Coach fellow or less experienced accountants.
- Knowledge of NSSF Taxation VAT and other legal/corporate requirements and willingness to learn rules in different jurisdictions.
- Assist in Budgeting.
- Assist in the development of accounting processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years in the Accounting Field.
- Handson experience in ERP accounting software.
- Advanced communication skills in English (written & spoken).
- Advanced Excel skills.
