Job Summary
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Electronic Technician to support the installation testing troubleshooting and maintenance of electronic equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electronic circuits PCB repairs and industrial automation systems. This role plays a crucial part in minimizing equipment downtime and ensuring optimal functioning of electronic systems across the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Install test and maintain electronic systems and components such as circuit boards sensors control panels and PLCs.
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and longevity.
Diagnose and repair faults in electronic equipment using testing instruments and schematic diagrams.
Calibrate electronic instruments and replace defective components as needed.
Maintain documentation for repairs installations and inspections.
Support the engineering team during upgrades modifications or new installations.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and electronic repair protocols.
Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and departments for troubleshooting complex issues.
Stay updated on new technologies and best practices in electronic maintenance.
Essential Qualifications:
Diploma / ITI in Electronics Electrical & Electronics or related field.
Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing industrial or technical service environment.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuits.
Experience in soldering and PCB component-level repairs.
Familiarity with PLCs VFDs sensors and control panels.
Proficiency in using tools like multimeters oscilloscopes and signal generators.
Ability to read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics and technical manuals.
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic understanding of EHS (Environment Health & Safety) protocols.
