Core Responsibilities
Stakeholder & Scope Management: Partner with Technology Enablement Business and third-party stakeholders to define project scope objectives and deliverables.
Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the Program Manager to set program standards (focusing on quality management) and ensure all activities align with broader portfolio goals.
Execution & Planning: Develop and execute detailed project plans including resource allocation timelines and budget oversight.
Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and address risks/issues throughout the project lifecycle; deliver data-driven reports highlighting achievements risks and financial status.
Team Leadership & Vendor Management: Lead cross-functional teams and external vendors providing the guidance necessary to meet milestones while fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
Artifact Excellence: Produce and maintain project artifacts to the highest standards ensuring continuity and clarity for the duration of the engagement
Requirements
Professional Certifications: PMP PMI-ACP Etc.
Professional Experience: 6 years leading IT projects with a focus on business process and organizational change; 3 years managing cross-functional teams for large-scale high-visibility initiatives.
Technical Fluency: Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to effectively manage internal dev teams and third-party vendors.
Methodological Versatility: Proficiency in Agile Waterfall or Hybrid methodologies with the ability to select the appropriate framework based on project needs.
Communication Excellence: Exceptional written/verbal skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language for non-technical audiences.
Rapid Discovery: Ability to perform week one discovery to identify hidden risks.
Objectivity: Willingness to provide candid unbiased feedback on timelines and project health without regard for internal politics.
Outcome-Oriented: Focused on tangible milestones rather than busy work.
Scope Guarding: Expert at managing scope creep while maintaining stakeholder satisfaction.
Tool Agnostic: Proficient across multiple platforms
High EQ: Ability to read the room and manage diverse personalities immediately without the benefit of long-term rapport.
Precision Documentation: All documentation and reporting must be sufficiently impeccable and clear so that a successor could step in and resume work without a loss in momentum.
