Job Description :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our finance this role you will be a key contributor to the integrity of our financial records overseeing essential General Ledger functions managing daily cash operations and ensuring a seamless month-end and year-end close process.

Responsibilities:

General Ledger

• Manage daily cash functions including monitoring bank balances processing cash receipts and supporting wire transfers or ACH payments

• Assist with month-end and year-end financial close process

• Prepare monthly GL and bank account reconciliations

• Responsible for preparing various monthly standard journal entries

• Knowledge of asset management to include capitalization transfers and disposal of assets

• Support the reconciliation of warehouse inventory

• Other responsibilities as assigned to support the team
  

General:

• Support the quarterly and annual external audit process

• Assist with the ongoing design enhancements and compliance with Internal Audit procedures

• Prepare and review trends and other analytics to aide in management reporting and ensure integrity of the financial records

• Support the annual re-forecast and budget preparation

• Other ad-hoc assignments

Reporting:

• Maintain monthly lease commitment schedules

• Prepare annual PA Business Privilege Tax filings

• Compile information for copyright reporting

• Compile information for Property Tax filings for multiple states and fiscal periods
  

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Accounting/Finance

• Preferred 2 years of experience in similar role

• Knowledge of accounting principles

• Experience with financial packages (preferably Workday Financial Management)

• Strong excel and word skills

• Experience leveraging AI-driven tools and automation software to optimize accounting workflows and enhance financial reporting integrity

• Enthusiastic and positive attitude with the ability to work independently

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize
