A Project Developer Data Centers is being sought to drive the development and delivery of complex data center projects from initial concept to construction readiness. This role is ideal for professionals with a mix of technical strategic and operational expertise along with a collaborative mindset and a commitment to sustainability. Responsibilities

  • Project Development: Manage and oversee all phases of data center project development including site selection feasibility analysis permitting and pre-construction activities.
  • Site Evaluation: Identify and secure optimal data center locations through strategic market research and site assessments.
  • Permitting & Compliance: Ensure zoning regulatory and environmental compliance by coordinating with municipal authorities government agencies and other stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate relationships with property owners municipal leaders contractors and vendors to ensure alignment and secure strategic partnerships.
  • Resource Planning: Collaborate with engineering construction operations and legal teams to create detailed project plans and timelines.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks delays and challenges proposing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Sustainability: Embed sustainable and energy-efficient solutions in project designs to meet organizational sustainability objectives.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation including permits agreements and project plans and communicate regular updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering Project Management Real Estate Development or related fields.
  • Proven experience in managing complex infrastructure projects preferably in data centers commercial real estate or related sectors.
  • Deep knowledge of site acquisition permitting processes and environmental compliance.
  • Exceptional project management skills including the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities with a collaborative mindset for managing diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software.
  • Knowledge of energy systems renewable energy and sustainable technologies is a significant advantage.
  • Strong background in working with cross-functional teams and a demonstrated commitment to diversity equity and inclusion practices.
